About Us

If you are involved in technical communications in the Charlotte area, Charlotte Regional STC offers an excellent opportunity to interact with other technical communicators. At our monthly meetings, you can share ideas, network, and draw from the knowledge and experience of 65 professional technical communicators.

Aside from the advantages of sharing with other technical communicators, Charlotte Regional STC offers its members these benefits:

• National membership in STC, including the quarterly journal, Technical Communication, and the Society's magazine, Intercom.

Students at U.N.C. Charlotte and other area schools can also benefit from membership in Charlotte Regional STC. STC not only provides an ideal opportunity to learn about technical communication, but also offers students a reduced membership rate. We hold two meetings a year at U.N.C. Charlotte, including the awards ceremony for the student competition at the end of the spring semester.
